It is so miserably hot outside today… Its been upwards of 100 for the past few days! 😦 I couldn’t stand my hair being down, so I decided to try the “bow” up-do that I saw Leighannsays do a while back. I washed my hair this morning, so it was too smooth to be able to work with, and it didn’t go so well. It was fun to try, though 🙂 I tried four or five times, and this is the best I got: 

  I ended up doing a braided up-do I tweaked after watching Blair’s tutorial. Basically, Instead of making one braid like she does, I make three braids and wrap them around my ponytail band, pinning them all around my head. This time, I forgot to rough up my braids a little… so its a pretty small topknot. Usually I try to add some more volume into it… but that’s as good as it was going to get for today 🙂
  I also ended up adding in one more teeny braid to the three big ones, and I twisted it around last.
