While on vacation last weekend, we ended up shopping at a cosmetics outlet, and they had tons of stuff from old MAC collections! My mom said she would let me pick something out, and I finally decided on a blush called “Launch Away!” from (I believe) the Hey Sailor! collection from last summer.  I don’t know much about any of the collections, but this one was probably the first that came out when I was interested in MAC makeup, and it was definitely a cute one!

The packaging is so cute! It’s navy blue plastic instead of the usual black, and it has navy nautical stripes on the box and on the actual packaging. I think it’s so adorable, and it keeps with the theme without being over the top or tacky.

Launch Away! Is a light pink, satin blush, but really nothing super original that I can tell. Of course, it’s beautiful and I’ll get so much use out of it, but I’m sure you could find a good dupe in their regular line if you really wanted a color like this. It looks really pretty on my skin, and it lasted 8 hours on my skin one day. I looked in the mirror after gym class and it looked like I had just put it on.
