Empties no. 3

I love doing empties posts! It’s so nice to de-clutter, and I get to talk about beauty products that aren’t necessarily makeup that I (clearly!) love. Especially this month, while I’m finishing up some spring cleaning, it will feel so nice to recycle everything!

Neutrogena Grapefruit Scrub- I have had this for ages, but I really loved it. It actually broke me out, and it took me a while to figure out how to use it. I considered giving it to my brother, but he probably wouldn’t enjoy the grapefruit scent as much as I do. 🙂 I ended up using it as a really clarifying body wash on my shoulders, neck, and chest. I don’t have any problems with acne there, so I can’t testify as to how it works, but it smells so good and never failed to make me feel very clean. If Neutrogena scrubs usually work well for you, I would definitely recommend this one!

Sonia Kashuk Brush Cleanser- I liked this a lot, and it was really convenient to have brush cleanser in a spray bottle. However, this cleanser (and most brush cleansers, for that matter) are expensive, so I’ve been using baby shampoo instead.

Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Butter- This is one of the Bath & Body Works body butters, and I loved it! I like the body butters much more than the regular lotions, and this scent was so nice. I think I finished this one up back in February, but I still can’t wait to pick up another one.

Country Chic Body Wash- I love Bath & Body Works body washes,  but this scent just wasn’t my favorite. Wouldn’t repurchase it, but can’t wait to try some more!

Almay Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover- This remover is my favorite- it doesn’t burn my eyes, and it dissolves all of my makeup really quickly without irritating my eyes. Would definitely recommend this!

La Roche Posay Hdyraphase Moisturizer- This is a really thick moisturizer that actually worked really well on my oily skin. It gives just enough hydration overnight and balances out my skin during the day.

E.L.F Brow Gel- I have used up so many of these! 🙂 They only cost a dollar, and I’ve started buying several of them at a time because I use them every day. The gel stays in place all day and comes off easily when I wash my face.

It’s really satisfying to use up so many things- and it’s going to be super fun opening up new things! It makes all of my shopping feel that bit more justified with each product that I recycle.

Hope you’re doing well! 🙂 Thanks for reading!
xoxo,
Heather Lauren
