Happy school year 2013! In preparation for the new school year, I’ve been packing up my school supplies and my backpack with all of the things that I need. Last year, I wrote a post and talked about the “emergency kit” that you could pack up and keep in your locker for days when you needed makeup touch-ups or a nail file, but I actually didn’t end up using most of the things in my bag very often throughout the year. This year, I decided to improve my list and show you what you would actually need throughout the year. Instead of one big bag, I’ve put together three smaller lists of things to keep in your locker, car, and backpack to save you some space!
Instead of one big bag, I’ve put together three smaller lists of things to keep in your locker, car, and backpack to save you some space! Obviously, you might not need all of these things, and you might want to take more than I do, so edit these lists to fit whatever you need.
Emergency Bag #1: Locker
(Anything you want with you on a daily basis, but don’t necessarily have room for in your backpack.)
*Deodorant
*Nail File
*Body spray/perfume
*Small box or bag to put jewelry in in case it breaks… we’ve all been there.
*Tide-to-go pen
*Locker mirror and shelf
Emergency Bag #2: Car
(Things you would only need with you before/after school in case you make plans, etc..)
*Parking pass (if your school requires one)
*Change of clothes (important for me because I don’t want to wear jeans to hang out at the park with my friends after school. I keep a pair of shorts around!)
*Umbrella
Emergency Bag #3: Backpack
(I actually split this list into two: school supplies and beauty supplies to make it easier to find stuff)
*Chapstick and lip balm
*Hair ties/ bobbi pins
*Extra pens/ pencils/ highlighters
*Eyeliner pencil (I keep one brown and one black)
*Blotting sheets (less space than powder and a brush!)
*Cream blush
*Gum/ mints
*Snacks
*Emergency cash (for lunch money or a soda in emergencies!)
*Hand Sanitizer
*Calculator and back up batteries
*Tissues
*Sticky notes
