With my favorite highlighter on it’s last legs, I’ve been on the lookout for a new highlighter to play with. I absolutely loved mine, the LORAC Perfectly Lit Luminizing Powder in “Spotlight,” but I really have the urge to try something new. I had several others in mind that I have considered purchasing, and I thought it would be really interesting to compare the prices and sizes of all of the different highlighters to find the cheapest one that (should!) last the longest based on size.
(Left to right from the top: M.A.C. Mineralize Skinfinish in “Soft and Gentle,” LORAC Perfectly Lit Luminizing Powder in “Spotlight,” Dior Diorskin Shimmer Star in “Rose Diamond,” Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in “Moonstone”.)
Cheapest to Most Expensive:
M.A.C. Mineralize Skinfinish in “Soft and Gentle-“ $30.00 for 0.35 oz = $85.70/1 oz
LORAC Perfectly Lit Luminizing Powder in “Spotlight-” $32.00 for 34 oz = $94.10/1 oz
Dior Diorskin Shimmer Star in “Rose Diamond-” $45.00 for 0.35 oz = $128.60/1 oz
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in “Moonstone-” $38.00 for 0.28 oz = $135.7/1 oz
I thought it was interesting that the smallest powder ended up being the most expensive! Obviously, I only looked into four powders, so there might be some really good deals out there among other high end highlighters. In the end, I think I will go ahead and buy the M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish, so let me know if you’ve tried it and what you thought. Hope this was interesting!
