October Catch-Up

Me, age 4. October Lovin’!

I can’t believe that it’s been so long since I’ve posted here- I was so excited to blog all throughout September, but clearly, that didn’t happen. September is probably my favorite month because it’s my birthday month, and I’m so sad that I didn’t get to spend it with you on my blog. In order to share some of my September with you, I thought I would do a little bit of catching up and then tell you about my plans to make up for my absence in October!

My Birthday: My birthday is at the end of September, and this year was amazing. I had so many surprises from friends and family, and I had an amazing, special day. From special birthday trips, surprise parties, an amazing date, and a sleepover with friends, it seemed like my birthday never ended this year. I am so grateful for everyone who helped make me feel so loved- not just on my birthday, but every day of the year.  Of course, birthdays mean presents, so I have lots of new beauty things to show and review!

September Shopping: I did more damage than I’d care to admit to my wallet, but my makeup drawer is feeling pretty loved! I’ve jumped on multiple trendy trains this month, from the Oribe dry thickening spray, to Butter London nail polish and the new em Michelle Phan line! I have so many opinions, favorites, and fails that I’m really excited to share. I’ll be posting a favorites compilation for you later today to fill you in on all the ins and outs of my beauty routine this past month.

October Blogging: I have recently been upgraded in the technology world, and now I’m using Windows 8. I have been absolutely loving it, and as far as I can tell, it’s going to make blogging much more efficient for me. I have a lot more options for photo editing with all of the Windows 8 apps, so I’m excited to start using those. My upgrade has also allowed me to be much more mobile, so I don’t have to be home to work on blog posts- yay!

I hope you have had a phenomenal first two days of October! Wear your favorite boots and don’t forget to eat something pumpkin!
